Dejavaux is, upon first inspection, a typical, rather stoic and imperious knight of Ishgard. He continues to learn more of what life has to offer in the days after the Dragonsong War with each passing moment, and has taken to experiencing the world in its myriad facets. Ever aspiring to nobility, Halonic tradition, and the truth in his heart, he is faithful to his companions and death to his foes.Specific Details:

There are those who have left a significant mark upon Dejavaux in his travels, including:○ Jamaivaux Morrelle & Lorelei Harper: The younger brother and his wife. Once at odds, they have found a collective sort of peace and understanding with each other.
○ Ciceroix Corentiaux: Best friend, the brother that isn't. The friendship between Dejavaux and Ciceroix slowly rebuilds itself after a long quarrel between the two.
○ Zohana Daemir: The harlequin hailing most recently from Thavnair haunts his thoughts in a spellbinding way that both enthralls and slightly frightens Dejavaux.
○ Livia Crane: Onetime captor and current employer, Dejavaux furthers Livia's goals while trying to keep the masked woman from drowning herself in her own plots.
○ Emi Lifahn: One of the first to show him kindness in his time outside Ishgard, Dr. Lifahn earned Dejavaux's loyalty and friendship early in his time at Ivory. Now the two friends do their best to keep the others around them from too much trouble.

Known to some fair few by reputation, and others by infamy, Dejavaux might be of interest for a variety of reasons:○ Ishgardian Knight: A longstanding member of the Order of the Knights Dragoon, Dejavaux grew up in service to House Fortemps before specializing into the Order when he came of age. He is currently on a state of extended leave and semi-retirement.
○ The Crimson: Tales of a knight soaked in the blood of heretics and dragonkind in the latter years of the war abound.
○ Hunter: After his experience hunting dragons and fugitives, he has a considerable amount of experience as a hunter for bounty, though usually in name of the Holy See or for the purposes of the Ivory.
○ Dragonsong Veteran: Like many, he still bears the scars of the Dragonsong War, including the tragedies and triumphs of that time of his life.
○ Weapons Expert: While highly trained in the use of his trident, Dejavaux also has experience in the use and maintenance of a variety of weapons, including some small measure of machinery.
○ Quiet Details: Rumor has it that the dragoon either started a family with a dragon or IS one, depending on who one asks.
